forster town markets                                

When:Second Sunday of the Month, 8:00 to 14:00                 Location:Town Park, Forster,

your chance to experience a true-blue coastal market with a veritable array of stalls

You'll find around 50 stallholders selling handmade, homegrown and pre-loved wares to holiday makers and locals.

The market more than lives up to its mantra of "homemade, homegrown and home-baked" - with a diverse selection of handmade craft, jewellery, clothing, homewares and art works.

And once you're done browsing and buying why not take a stroll down the main street for a morning coffee or brunch in one of the many cafes

tuncurry markets                                  

When:3rd Saturday of the Month, 8am-1pm                   Location:John Wright Park, Tuncurry

This is a popular market located harbour side near the bridge and has the added advantage of being seen from the main street in Tuncurry.

This is totally open air with use of the under cover Podium for entertainment.  Many of the stall holders come from the local 'North Coast Region' and sell a diverse range of products, from handmade wooden toys to handmade organic skincare. A good variety of clothing, lots of plants, plenty to suit all tastes.  

Also available at the market is face painting and the famous Marine Rescue BBQ.

pacific palms markets                          

When:Last Sunday of the Month, 9am-1pm           Location:Pacific Palms Community Centre, The Lakes Way

On the last Sunday of the month, with extra markets in the holidays, the Community Centre comes alive with vibrant colours, textures and a really great vibe here...come and experience it for yourself!

The Palms Markets showcase quality handmade, home grown and home baked products from around the Great Lakes region and beyond.

Sample some of our fabulous food from around the globe including organic vegetarian curries, Asian noodles and Aussie style barbecues!

See the colourful stalls including eco and fair trade products, jewellery, art, craft, clothes, plants, fruit, veg and beautiful body products.

A jumping castle and pony rides will keep the children entertained whilst you can enjoy an organic coffee and cake on the alfresco deck.

blackhead bazaar                                  

When:First Sunday of the Month (September to May only), 8:30 to 13:00        Location:Main Street, Blackhead NSW

The Blackhead Bazaar is a community market organised and operated by Hallidays Point Landcare Group.

The Bazaar attracts a good mix of stalls selling arts & craft, flowers, bric-a-brac, clothes, fruit & veg, home cooked preserves, jams, pickles, cakes, biscuits, chocolates and gingerbread. 

It is especially renowned for its large number of plant stalls ranging from specialised palms sales to tube stock and local native plants. 

Other attractions include buskers, bouncy castle & pony rides. A BBQ breakfast runs all morning.

Music Art Market Food Wine                   Saturday 5 November 10.30am - 6pm

Saturday brings a feast for all your senses. Relax with great music while enjoying delicious food and wine. Whet your appetite watching cooking demonstrations which will showcase our local produce. Indulge in some retail therapy at the art market, bursting with local handmade unique pieces. Add a gorgeous view and entertainment for the kids and this is a date for your diary and one not to miss. “Lakeside” continues to offer a full day of awesome live music. The 2016 line up is a closely guarded secret for now, but will be announced soon. Our new addition is a second stage for up and coming local talent. Expect to be amazed by the musical skills of our buskers. The carnival atmosphere continues with a live outdoor broadcast by MAX FM radio during intermissions. This is a licenced event, so under 18’s must be accompanied by an adult. Admission $10 - Under 16 free in direct supervision of parent

Lakeside Moonlight Movie- "Daddy's Home"      

Friday 4 November Gates open 5.30pm

On Friday 4 November the Lakeside Moonlight Movie will again be a major drawcard for families at the end of a hard working week. An outdoor big screen movie for all the family right by the lake. There's no need to cook......our delicious gourmet food and wine stalls will be open. Bring a chair or blanket and come put your feet up. Pre movie fun and entertainment till the movie starts when the stars come out ( approx 8pm) This is a licenced event, so under 18’s must be accompanied by an adult. Admission $5 - Under 16 free in direct supervision of parent

Art Exhibition             4, 5, 6 November

The inaugural Lakeside Open Art Prize will be held at the historic Tuncurry Memorial Hall just across the street from the main festival site. The exhibition will run from Friday 4 through till Sunday 6 with a stunning display of local artworks. This is a great opportunity for our talented artists to exhibit and be in the running for one of three prize categories. Admission by gold coin donation.

forster fly muster                               

When:Sat 19 & Sun 20 Nov 2016                   Location:1 Baird St, Tuncurry 

Leave your ego's and stress behind and come along to enjoy a weekend of fly fishing, learning, sharing and laughs. Fly Tying Demos, Casting tuition, knowledge sharing, all welcome, kids, families, wives, dogs the lott! Cost is $30 which includes an Aquasoul LS fishing shirt and a bloody good time.
